Privacy policy

This policy covers CA Accident Report (caaccidentreport.com), run by C&B Law Group LLP, a private law firm and not a government agency, 927 Everett St, Los Angeles, CA 90026. It explains what we collect, why, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• What you give us: when and where the crash happened, whether anyone was hurt, whether you already have a lawyer, your name and phone number, and your last name and email if you add them. If you type a phone number and leave before sending, we may keep what you typed so we can call you back.
• How you found us: the ad or link you clicked (for example Google's click ID and campaign tags), the page you landed on and the site that sent you.
• Your device and visit: IP address, browser and device, and how you used the page.
• Phone calls: the number you call from, when you called, and a recording of the call. You hear a recording notice at the start of every call.

Why we use it

To call you back, help you request your report and, if you were hurt, review your case; to keep the site working and secure and to spot fake clicks on our ads; to measure which ads reach people who need help; and to meet our legal and professional duties.

If you tell us someone was hurt, we use that only to answer your request and review your case.

Who helps us

• Google (Analytics and Ads) measures visits and which ads work. When you send the form, a scrambled (hashed) copy of your phone number or email may go to Google so it can match your request to the ad you clicked. Google may collect information about your visits over time and across other websites.
• Service providers that work for us: a call-tracking provider (tracking phone numbers, connecting and recording calls, telling us which ad led to a call), our case-intake software, and our website host and database. They use your information only to provide those services.
• The Google reviews on our pages are loaded from Google.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your mobile number or your text-message consent with anyone for their own marketing.

Cookies

The site stores one small cookie of its own for 90 days that remembers which ad or link brought you, so a request you send later is still credited to it, and it keeps your answers in your browser until you close the tab. Google and our call-tracking provider set their own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the site still works.

Your choices and California rights

Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends this signal, we turn off Google's use of your visit for ad personalization and treat the signal as a request to opt out of "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. The site does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals, because there is no agreed standard for them.

California residents can ask what personal information we hold about them, and ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop sharing it. We confirm it is you by contacting you at the phone number or email you gave us, and an authorized agent may ask for you. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. Some records we must keep, for example where the law or our duties as lawyers require it.

How long we keep it

Requests and call records become part of our intake records and are kept as long as the law and our professional duties require. Raw IP addresses are deleted after 30 days. Visit records and unfinished requests are deleted after 24 months.

Security

Data is stored with providers in the United States, sent over encrypted connections and limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
