Privacy policy

This site (CA Accident Report, caaccidentreport.com) is operated by C&B Law Group LLP, a private law firm and not a government agency, 927 Everett St, Los Angeles, CA 90026. It exists so people who were in a car crash can get help requesting their accident report and, if they were hurt, reach us. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

  • What you type into the form: the date and county of the crash, whether you were hurt, whether you already have a lawyer, your name, phone number and email address.
  • How you reached us: the advertising click identifiers and campaign tags in the page address (for example Google's gclid), the page you landed on, and the site that referred you.
  • Technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, screen size, time zone and language, and how long you stayed and how far you scrolled. We use this to detect fraudulent clicks on our ads. The IP address is kept for up to 30 days for that purpose and then reduced to a one-way hash.
  • Partially completed forms: if you type a phone number and leave without submitting, we may keep what you entered so that we can call you back. We do not send text messages unless you tick the text-message box.

Tools we use

  • Google Analytics and Google Ads, to measure which advertising works. When you submit a form we may send Google a hashed version of your phone number or email so it can match the submission to the ad click.
  • CallRail, which shows you a tracking phone number so we know which ad led to your call. Calls to our numbers may be recorded for training and quality; you will hear a notice at the start of the call.
  • Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors use the page (scrolling, tapping). Form fields are masked so what you type is not captured.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile, which blocks automated submissions.

Text messages

If you tick the text-message box, C&B Law Group LLP may send you text messages about your report request and, if you were hurt, your case review and case. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of hiring us.

Your California privacy rights

We do not sell your personal information. We honour the Global Privacy Control browser signal: when it is on, advertising personalisation is turned off for your visit. You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us not to share it for cross-context advertising by emailing privacy@cblawgroup.com or writing to the address above. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

Retention and security

Form submissions become part of our intake records and are kept as long as the law and our professional obligations require. Site logs are kept for up to 24 months. Data is stored with hosting providers in the United States and protected with industry-standard controls.
